📝 This is a working draft. Before launch, have a lawyer in your market review it — a marketplace that handles money and sends people into private homes has real obligations (consumer law, tax, data protection, and the employment-classification question in particular).

1. What klinit is

klinit is a marketplace that connects people who need a service at their home or business ("clients") with independent professionals who offer it ("professionals"). klinit is not the employer of the professionals, does not supervise the work, and is not a party to the service contract between the two sides. klinit provides the platform: discovery, scheduling, communication, payment handling, reputation and dispute support.

2. Accounts

You must be of legal age in your country and give accurate information. You are responsible for everything done with your account. Professionals must provide the documents klinit asks for and keep any licences their trade requires. klinit may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

3. Bookings and prices

The price shown before confirmation includes the service value, any applicable surcharges and discounts. The professional may send a different offer, which the client is free to accept or refuse. Once a booking is paid, the amount is held by klinit and released to the professional after the job is completed and the hold period has passed.

4. Commission

klinit charges the professional a commission on each completed job, shown at the moment of acceptance. Commission rates may change with notice; a change never applies to a booking already accepted.

5. Cancellations

Either side may cancel before the job starts. Cancelling well in advance is free. A late cancellation by the client may carry a fee, shown before confirming. Repeated cancellations by either side affect ranking and may lead to suspension.

6. Conduct

Harassment, discrimination, threats, fraud and attempts to move the transaction off the platform to avoid fees or protections are prohibited. Contact details may be masked in chat until a booking is paid. Both sides can block and report the other.

7. Reviews

Reviews are written by real counterparties after a completed job. klinit does not edit reviews and removes them only when they break these terms. The reviewed side may reply publicly once.

8. Liability

klinit is responsible for the platform, not for the quality of the work. Claims about a job should be opened through support within a reasonable time so klinit can mediate, hold funds or refund. Nothing here limits rights that the law in your country gives you and cannot be waived.

9. Changes

klinit may update these terms. Material changes are announced in the app before taking effect.
